This fabric is imported, it is slightly heavier than Innerpeace sheets and napped on both sides. It is 100% cotton with no synthetic fibers or flame retardants, however it will shed more than the Innerpeace fabric. The first couple of times the shedding is very apparent, this is normal. It is an excellent material it just takes a few washings for the shedding to settle down. It is recommended to wash these sheets in a front loading machine as top loaders can exacerbate the shedding and can produce balls or clumps of lint as the agitator rubs the material. This is not "pilling". Also Please Note Dark colors will bleed, so wash separately until you are sure the bleeding stops.
